Find answers to common questions about scanning tickets, managing events, and getting your account set up.

Getting Started

After signing in, head to the Events tab in the sidebar and click New Event. Fill in the event name, date, venue, and ticket price. Once saved, Cue generates a shareable ticket link you can send directly to attendees.
Yes. Export a CSV from Eventbrite, TIXR, or any other platform and upload it via Events → Import CSV. Cue maps common column names automatically and will prompt you to confirm any fields it isn't sure about.
Open cueup.co in your mobile browser and sign in. Navigate to your event and tap Scan Tickets. The scanner uses your device camera — no app download required. For the smoothest experience, use Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android.
Yes. Share your event's scan link with your door staff — each person can scan simultaneously from their own device. All scans are logged in real time so the system prevents duplicate entries even across multiple scanners.

Scanning Tickets

The scanner shows a clear Already Scanned alert with the time of the first scan. The entry is blocked and the attempt is logged so you can review it later in the event check-in report.
Cue requires an active internet connection to validate tickets in real time. We recommend using a mobile hotspot as a backup if your venue has unreliable Wi-Fi. Offline mode is on our roadmap — let us know if this is critical for your events.
Make sure your browser has camera permission for cueup.co:
  • iOS Safari: Settings → Safari → Camera → Allow
  • Android Chrome: tap the lock icon in the address bar and set Camera to Allow
After updating permissions, reload the page. If the issue persists, try a different browser or contact us.
Yes. In the event check-in view, use the Guest List tab to search by name or email and manually mark an attendee as checked in.

Account & Billing

Go to Account → Profile in the sidebar. Update your contact details and save. If you can no longer access your registered phone number, email us and we'll verify your identity and update it manually.
Multi-user organization support is on the roadmap. Currently, one account maps to one organizer. If you need a team setup urgently, get in touch and we'll work something out.
Ticket payments are processed through Stripe. Cue never stores card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe's secure infrastructure. Payouts go directly to your connected Stripe account.
Send a deletion request to info@cueup.co from your registered email address. We'll confirm the request and permanently remove your data within 30 days.

Data & Exports

LTV is the total revenue a customer has generated across all their ticket purchases in your organization. It is recalculated automatically every time new order data is imported or a ticket is sold through Cue.
RFM stands for Recency, Frequency, and Monetary value. Cue scores each customer on all three dimensions and groups them into segments like VIP, Loyalist, At-Risk, and Lapsed — so you can focus marketing effort where it matters most.
Yes. From the Customers section, use the export button to download a CSV of your full customer list including LTV, RFM segment, event history, and contact details. Your data is always yours to take with you.
As far back as the CSV data you import. Cue doesn't have a date limit — if you upload order history from five years ago, it will be included in your analytics and customer LTV calculations from day one.
